The medical marijuana program will have specific policies and procedures for background searches. These policies and procedures will be posted on the medical marijuana website or can be obtained from the program Director. Medical marijuana card applicants must be screened by a medical marijuana doctor or nurse licensed pursuant to part 2 of this chapter as required in the license for their state of residence. All medical facility employees will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment. 7. All interviews will be held in person or by telephone. All applicants will be required to meet or exceed required minimum age and criminal background standards. 8. All applicants will be given all required information regarding their application. 9. The Director will contact potential new employees. No employee will be hired prior to completing all background checks. 10.
