The officer was taken to an isolated location where they assaulted and raped the young female. He was then beaten and dumped naked in a public place. That is the very reason the council decided to increase protection payments to local councils. They have been asked to make extra cash available for the increased number of burglaries, as reported by me in the local newspaper in the hope that the criminals will leave the area. A large scale gang have been targeted. I do not believe the council have the resources to deal with this alone.
