Open File Explorer (Windows key + E). Navigate to the folder location with the backup file. Right-click the plum.sqlite file, and select Copy (Ctrl + C). Open the Run command using the Windows key + R keyboard shortcut.
Find and open StickyNotes.snt file with Notepad, Microsoft Word or Wordpad; 3. View and find lost notes in the .snt file, copy the exact notes that you lost and paste to a new Sticky Notes so to recover them. You may also try to right-click on the StickyNotes.snt file and select Restore previous versions.
Windows stores your sticky notes in a special appdata folder, which is probably C:\\Users\\logon\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Sticky Noteswith logon being the name with which you log onto your PC. You'll find only one file in that folder, StickyNotes.snt, which contains all your notes.
Windows 7 does it the other way around. But both versions save the notes in a file called StickyNotes.snt, located in the C:\\Users\\login\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Sticky Notes folder.

To close a sticky note, right click on its taskbar icon and select 'Close window'. If you reopen Sticky Notes now, you will see the earlier Notes. The Notes will appear exactly where you left them, even if you restart your Windows computer.
The Sticky Notes program saves all of its information in a single file, called StickyNotes.snt. You can locate this file by opening up an explorer window and typing %AppData%\\Microsoft\\Sticky Notes into the address bar. Press Enter and you should see it.
From the list of notes, right click or tap and hold a note, and then click or tap Delete note. From the list of notes list, click or tap the ellipsis icon ( ... ) to the right of a note, and then click or tap Delete note. From an open note, click or tap the ellipsis icon ( ... ) and then click or tap Delete note.
To delete a Sticky, simply click the Close button at the upper-left corner of the Sticky window. Or click the Sticky to make it the active note and then click Close.
