It was confusing. I had sent a rental app to a client and I didn't know where to get the reply. When the customer called me she said she was unable to send it. I eventually found it on the PDF Filler site but couldnt do anything with it. I then realized even though I thought I subscribed, I apparently did not. How do I bypass field validation?

If you are building your own form, you need to remove '#required' → TRUE, from field to bypass validation or assign FALSE value. Now you can do the same for existing form by alter the form using hook_alter_form and unset required attribute or assign FALSE value.
