Two main issues I have with PDF: 1) not being able to change the names on the forms, 2) easily finding a form to download to My Forms (referring to Acord forms mainly, you would think your company would have a direct link to Acord forms draw from)

To get resettled status, you only need to show you've lived in the UK for 1 day out of the last 6 months. To get settled status, you only need evidence for 6 months out of every 12 months for 5 years in a row. It doesn't have to be the last 5 years.
Yes. Resettled status is granted for five years. During that five-year period you can apply for settled status as soon as you've lived in the UK for five continuous years.
With resettled Status you lose your status if you leave the UK for a period of 2 consecutive years, whereas with Settled Status you can be away for 5 years. In addition, your period of 'continuous residence' resets to 0 if you spend over 6 months abroad in any 12-month period with resettled Status.
You can contact the EU Settlement Scheme Resolution Center to check the progress of your application. You can ask a question about the scheme on GOV.UK — they'll reply within 5 working days.
