How do I speak to someone at DPS?

Can I call DPS to get my audit number?
Answers. I'm not sure what a DPS audit number is, but it seems to me the first thing you should do is call the local office and ask them. As for the DPS audit number, at least on Texas driver's licenses, it's the number shown vertically next to the picture that identifies the unique driver's license.
