Is it legal to copy and paste a signature?
Also called a digital signature, it is any way of signing a non-printed document. However, it should be mentioned that an electronic signature doesn't necessarily mean legally binding because it refers to any online signature, which can include a copy-paste of your own signature.

How do I copy someone else's email signature?
Open your HTML signature file and drag it to any browser you use. Copy email signature HTML (select your signature design and then copy it (go to Edit-Select All, then Edit-Copy).
How can I copy my signature to a Word document?
Place the cursor in your Word document where you want to insert a signature. Click the Insert tab. Select Signature Line. A menu will appear. Fill out the required fields. Select OK.
How do you tell if a signature is photocopied?
Flip the signed page over to look at the back side of it (called the recto in the terms of the trade). Hold that page up to the light. Flipping back over to the front side of that signature (the verso of the page), look at the page at an oblique angle.
How do you tell if a signature is real or copied?
Through a magnifying glass, you will be able to see more ink on the edges of the lines than in the middle. Look for autographs printed by machines that may have an unnaturally “smooth” effect. Check the color of the ink. If you've decided that the paper is likely genuine, look at the ink.
