How do I put a header but no footer?
Go to Insert > Header & Footer. On the top right side of the document, select Options > Remove Headers & Footers.
Can you have a header without a footer?
Click or tap where you want to start a new page without the header or footer. Go to Layout > Breaks > Next Page to create a section break. Double-click the header or footer area (near the top or bottom of the page) to open the Header & Footer tab. Choose Remove Header or Remove Footer near the bottom of the menu.
Can Microsoft Word create headers and footers?
Word has a variety of preset headers and footers you can use to enhance your document's design and layout. Select the Insert tab, then click the Header or Footer command. In our example, we'll click the Header command. In the menu that appears, select the desired preset header or footer.
Why won't my header and footer remove?
Double-click the header in any one page to go to the editing mode, and then, select the content of the header, see screenshot: 2. Then, press Delete key on keyboard, and then click Close Header and Footer to exit the editing mode, all headers in this current document have been deleted immediately.
How do I remove header and footer?
