AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POLICIES
Used PDFfiller for one document and forgot to cancel my trial subscription. Is Ally columns permanent?
Ally columns can be either temporary or permanent. Temporary columns are frequently used by workers to brace the joists of the floor above when removing a wall. Permanent columns are sometimes used under a house, in the crawlspace or basement, to shore up the structure.
Can you remove Ally columns?
What if my Ally columns are not exposed? Even if your columns are not exposed, they can be located and removed. This may provide you the opportunity to remove load bearing walls and change the layout of that area of your home.
What is the maximum span between Ally column?
The current columns are spaced five feet apart, and five feet from the exterior walls. They hold up three 2×10s which support the floor joists.
