To assist us in maintaining a consistently high level of service for the Restaurants and their patrons, Users must cancel any reservations that they will be unable to honor at least 30 minutes in advance of the reservation. You may cancel your reservation via the OpenTable Sites or by calling the Restaurant directly.
If you cannot honor your reservation, and you do not cancel online or call the restaurant to cancel your reservation ahead of time, the restaurant reserves the right to mark your reservation as a no-show. ... Like no-shows, cancelled reservations do not qualify for any applicable OpenTable Dining Points.
Go to your profile by clicking on your name on the top-right hand corner. In the left-hand menu go to Account Details Scroll to the bottom and click on or off any and all communication that you'd like to receive from OpenTable.
Turns out the restaurant requests a credit card when making a reservation for any size party; if the reservation isn't canceled within 24 hours of the date, the party is charged $25 per guest.
The rivals have easily identified OpenTable's Achilles' heel: the fees it charges restaurants every time someone books a table using its system. For reservations made on OpenTable, the restaurant pays $1 for each diner. Even if reservations are made on the restaurant's website, OpenTable charges 25 cents a diner.
If you happen to miss your Advanced Dining Reservation, a per-person penalty is charged to the credit card linked to that reservation. Each restaurant has a different policy, so visit that restaurants dining page to find out the exact fee.
