Prior to having pdffiller, we still had to type into forms using a TYPEWRITER. No joke. With my legal practice there are numerous forms that we have to fill out. Not only does pdffiller have the usual ability to enter Text into a form, but the feature we rely on the most is the ability to DELETE and RE-TYPE into the document. This has improved the time it takes to draft and amend documents that were not originally created by our office.

What is a HUD plate?
A manufactured home HUD tag is a metal plate that is riveted onto the exterior of the home. It has a certification label number stamped into it. Manufactured home HUD tags are also called construction code labels, certification labels, and HUD labels.
Do modular homes have HUD tags?
No, a modular home will not have that familiar red HUD tag on the exterior wall, like the one shown above. Modular homes are not built under HUD supervision like a manufactured/mobile home. They are constructed to meet the local building code for their location, the same as a site-built single family home.
What does a HUD tag look like?
Short Answer. The tag, issued by HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development) is a 2 by 4 plate made of metal that is attached to an exterior wall of each section of a mobile home. A single wide has one tag, and a double wide will have two tags. In general, people will refer to this as the HUD label.

What is a Data Plate? The Data Plate is a paper label affixed inside the home and is the size of a standard sheet of paper (8 ½ x 11). The Data Plate can be found in a kitchen cabinet, an electrical panel, or a bedroom closet.
