How often does Google Earth Take a picture of my house?
Google Maps Update Schedules The satellite data on Google Maps is typically between 1 and 3 years old. According to the Google Earth Blog, data updates usually happen about once a month, but they may not show real-time images.
How can you tell when a Google Earth picture was taken?
To find satellite images capture date in Google Map you need to use Google Earth. Google Map uses same imagery used in Google Earth, you can install Google Earth application on your PC and zoom into the area of which you wish to know the captured date at the bottom of the screen shows the Imagery Date.
Is there a way to see live satellite images?
There's no such thing yet as live satellite imagery yet. Space agencies and commercial imaging companies are trying to reduce interval between image acquisition and delivery, but the most frequently updated imagery in free public use is still the one from weather satellites.
How old are Google Earth images?
Again as with maps, Street View images are a tough to manage resource, meaning cars having to drive on ALL ROADS snapping 360 degree pictures every few meters, so some images in remote areas will date from up to 10 years ago while more popular places will have recent images as old as 1 or 2 years.
