How does Fitbit know I'm on my period?
Turn on period notifications to receive reminders about your upcoming predicted periods. You'll receive a notification on your phone 2 days before your period starts and on the first day of your predicted period. You'll also see the reminder on your Fitbit device in Fitbit Today.
How does Fitbit know when my period is?
If you indicate during the Fitbit onboarding process that you're female, the app will ask if you want to opt in to tracking your menstrual cycle. Once you do that and begin telling the app when your period starts and ends, the app will show your predicted period week as pink, and your predicted fertile window as blue.
How does Fitbit track female health?
The Female Health Tracking Experience Log your period, record symptoms, and opt into receiving push notifications two days before and on the day of your predicted period start date. This allows you to have the opportunity to compare all your stats in one place.
Is Fitbit period tracker accurate?
Plus, Fitbit recommends you “log your period consistently for more personalized predictions,” but it doesn't remind you to enter the information. Overall, though, the female health tracking feature has its merits. It was quite accurate at predicting one of two of my periods in the two months I've been testing it.

Mark your first day on the day you see this color change and the last day according to this same description. For example: day one (light pink spotting), days two through five (red bleeding), day six (light brown discharge), day seven (clear-whitish discharge). Mark days one through six on the calendar as period days.
