Paul was fantastic. I have been chatting with several other people since April 3 and no one could figure this problem out. I was emailed that this issue had been referred to technical support and they could not provide adequate assistance. As I am not computer friendly, Paul was very helpful. He was very patient with me. How is notice period pay calculated?
Of course, if you are required to give employees more than two weeks' notice, the amount of notice pay will be more than two weeks' compensation. Calculating notice pay is a matter of simple arithmetic. Divide the annual salary by 52. Then, expressing the number of weeks in terms of days, multiply $100/day by 14 days.
How do you calculate your notice period?

if a person gives only 20 days notice period then u have to calculate the remain 10 days from the monthly salary that means u have to hold the 30 days salary. The calculation is monthly salary divide by 30 days or 31 days and once u get the per day salary then multiply with the short notice.
