PDFfiller is a great resource for business needs and ordinary forms we use every day. I'm finding as I use PDF filler more, the more I see the value for business and tax time. I'm still exploring PDFfiller. I've not had a problem using the program and instructions are available. Very useful! What I most liked is the signature with verified by PDFfiller. There are couple of times I cannot edit properly but this should be how the pdf file was created. For example, to change page number, I wasn't able to do this properly so end up sending my forms as they were.

How long can you not work as a nurse and keep your license?
Practice as a registered nurse in California is not permitted with either a delinquent or inactive license. If I renew to inactive status, when does the license expire? An inactive license has the same renewal cycle (two years) as an active license.
Can I keep my nursing license without working?
A licensee cannot practice as a registered nurse in the state of California on an inactive license. The inactive status maintains the license as current for the renewal period. If the RN chooses to return to active status during the renewal period, proof of completion of 30 contact hours must be submitted.
Can a nurse work without a license?
Though it is not possible to practice nursing without a license, your nursing degree doesn't have to go to waste should you choose not to become a licensed registered nurse.
How do I maintain my nursing license?
30 contact hours of approved CE. 30 hours of participation in approved professional activities. 320 hours of approved nursing employment.
How many hours do nurses need to keep registration?
With RN (extended practice) renewal, you need to work, at minimum 900 extended practice hours in the previous three years or 300 extended practice hours in the previous year. In the past, many employers provided the actual annual number of hours worked to an individual nurse that requested it.
How many hours do you have to work to keep your nursing license?
All RN's in the State of California who wish to maintain an active license are required to complete 30 hours of continuing education for license renewal.
How many hours do nurses have to work to keep their registration?
Simply put, as an RN you need to have completed 1,125 hours of registered nurse practice in the past five years. If you work as an RN in a full time capacity in either clinical, education, administration, research role(s) or a combination you are very likely to have met the minimum requirement already.
How do I keep my LPN license active?
All LPNs who wish to maintain active license are required to complete 24 contact hours (might vary state to state) of continuing education for license renewal. The courses for the continuing education must be recognized by the Board. You shall be required to furnish to the Department of Justice and FBI.
