Can you replace a grade on your transcript?
Retaking a course may raise your student's GPA (grade point average). In many schools, if a student retakes a course, the most recent grade will replace the lower grade in the student's GPA. The earlier, lower grade will remain on the transcript, but will not be included in the GPA.
Can a grade be changed on a transcript?
Once the deadline passes, the Registrar's Office updates all final grades entered by faculty onto student transcripts. Final grades cannot be changed after they have been verified. The grade has been restored to the unedited value , .

Can a college professor change your final grade? Yes, if you are able to demonstrate that a grading error was made, your professor should be able to change your final grade.
Does it look bad on your transcript to withdrawal?
The W has no effect on the student's GPA (Grade Point Average). Each college has its own deadline for withdrawing from a class. Your student and you, may worry that a W will not look very good on a transcript. Generally, withdrawing from a class once or twice throughout a college career is not a problem.

A grade dispute is a university policy where you can challenge your college course grade. When filing a grade appeal, the school will have strict rules that must be followed. Many grade grievances must meet a specific criterion. Check your student handbook for the allowed categories for a grade dispute.

How do I get rid of F on my transcript?
Retake The Course Some schools will allow you to retake a course for a better grade and will delete the F from your transcript entirely. Others will allow you to re-take the class for a higher grade but will keep the F on your transcript, though will not calculate it into your GPA.
