How do I change the layout of word art?

Select the Word Art you want to change. Go to Shape Format or Drawing Tools Format > Text Effects. Select Transform, and then choose the effect you want. If you don't see Transform at the bottom of the menu, make sure you've selected Text Effects.

How do you change the layout of the word art to be in line with the text?

Click the Word Art object whose style you want to change. Click the Format tab under Drawing or Word Art Tools. Click the scroll up or down arrow, or click the More list arrow in the Word Art Styles group to see additional styles. Point to a style.
