What Is Proforma

What is Proforma?

A proforma is a financial statement that outlines the estimated financial performance of a business or a project based on certain assumptions and projections. It is often used for planning and decision-making purposes, as well as for assessing the feasibility of a business venture. The proforma typically includes information on revenues, expenses, profits, and cash flows.

What are the types of Proforma?

There are several types of proforma statements that can be used in different situations. Some of the common types include:

Proforma Income Statement: This type of proforma statement focuses on projecting the anticipated revenues and expenses of a business over a specific period of time, typically a year.
Proforma Balance Sheet: This type of proforma statement provides an estimated snapshot of the financial position of a business at a specific point in time, considering the projected assets, liabilities, and equity.
Proforma Cash Flow Statement: This type of proforma statement forecasts the expected inflows and outflows of cash for a business over a period of time, illustrating the potential for cash shortages or surpluses.

How to complete Proforma?

Completing a proforma involves several steps to ensure its accuracy and usefulness. Here is a step-by-step guide to completing a proforma statement:

01
Identify the purpose of the proforma statement, whether it is for internal planning, external fundraising, or any other specific objective.
02
Gather relevant financial data, including historical financial statements, market research, sales forecasts, and expense projections.
03
Make realistic assumptions and projections based on the available data and market trends.
04
Create a proforma template using spreadsheet software or specialized financial management tools.
05
Input the gathered data and projections into the template, organizing them into the appropriate sections such as revenues, expenses, and cash flows.
06
Verify the accuracy of the calculations and review the proforma for any inconsistencies or errors.
07
Analyze the proforma statement by comparing it to the actual financial performance of the business, identifying any gaps or opportunities.
08
Make necessary adjustments and revisions to the proforma based on the analysis results.
09
Present the completed proforma to stakeholders or decision-makers, providing explanations and interpretations if necessary.

Customer service excellent.
Customer service excellent. removed one star for irritating Watermark and Filler buttons right next to the page scroll bar … way too easy to accidently add them … hence the need to contact support

Best money spent Filling out forms on the daily used to be such a pain.
Best money spent Filling out forms on the daily used to be such a pain. Now it is easy! so much better than printing a page, filling it out, getting my boss to sign it, scanning it, and emailing. upload a signature, fill it out, email or save to computer. easy peasy Honestly nothing. If I HAD to complain, scrolling from page to page on a multi-page document isn't always smooth scrolling.

Simple Way To Edit PDF Files Right on Your Computer I don't need this service too often but it is nice to have the ability to edit and fill PDF files when I do need it. It's great that you can edit, annotate and even post notes right onto the PDF files. Not too much else to tell - it just does what I need it to do. I like best the ability to edit and fill PDF files from the convenience of my own computer. The program is easy to use and provides all the functions I need. When filling in PDF forms it would be nice if the software could read the empty fields and tab directly to the appropriate locations rather than needing to manually place the cursor and then drag and drop to dial in the exact spot you want the text to land.
