For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Most APIs require an API key. The easiest way to start using an API is by finding an HTTP client online, like REST-Client, Postman, or Paw. The next best way to pull data from an API is by building a URL from existing API documentation.
API is like a question answer session. You ask a question, you get an answer. Call an API, is like asking, called XHR request. When you call, the answer that you are getting is the response.
POST. In web services, POST requests are used to send data to the API server to create or update a resource. The data sent to the server is stored in the request body of the HTTP request. When you fill out the inputs in a form and hit Send, that data is put in the response body of the request and sent to the server.
The POST method is used to request that the origin server accept the entity enclosed in the request as a new subordinate of the resource identified by the Request-URI in the Request-Line. It essentially means that POST request-URI should be of a collection URI. PUT method is idempotent.
GET requests are the most common and widely used methods in APIs and websites. Simply put, the GET method is used to retrieve data from a server at the specified resource. For example, say you have an API with a /users endpoint.
An Application Programming Interface (API) is a tool set that programmers can use in helping them create software. An example is the Apple (iOS) API that's used to detect touchscreen interactions. APIs are tools. They allow you as a programmer to deliver solid solutions fairly rapidly.
Request-Response APIs. At its core, request response is a message exchange pattern in which a requestor sends a request message to a replied system. These request-response style APIs, therefore, must follow the interaction script from the calling service.
API stands for Application Programming Interface, meaning that any code that you can call has an API. From your question, making a request to an API, you're probably talking about any kind of web hosted service that you can request via the HTTP protocol. In that case, an API is all the HTTP URIs available for you to call.
In the Name field, type the name of your header rule (for example, My header ). From the Type menu, select Request, and from the Action menu, select Set. In the Destination field, type the name of the header affected by the selected action.
Visit and Install Plugin: Chrome Mod Headers Plugin. Open the Plugin and addthe header: Click save, and then Start and now debugging should always be visible in your browser when turned on.
In Chrome, visit a URL, right click, select Inspect to open the developer tools. Select Network tab. Reload the page, select any HTTP request on the left panel, and the HTTP headers will be displayed on the right panel.
Modify Header Value (HTTP Headers) Add, modify or remove a header for any request on desired domains. Modify Header Value (HTTP Headers) is an extension that can add, modify or remove an HTTP-request-header for all requests on a desired website or URL.
Create URL object from the GET/POST URL String. Call openConnection() method on URL object that returns instance of HttpURLConnection. Set the request method in HttpURLConnection instance, default value is GET.

They both serve a different purpose. It's quite possible, valid and even preferred in some occasions, to use PUT to create resources, or use POST to update resources. Use PUT when you can update a resource completely through a specific resource.
