Just started. Quite happy so far. Still a little confused. When I am bringing up the same patient from last week when we just signed up, kind of confusing for us. It is okay now when we see the small icon to print from, because we only have two patients, but it is a trial and error because you can't really read the patient's name until the last phase of the print screen. This will be an impossible task once we get 10-20 patients. We need to learn more about it. Also, do you have a clearinghouse feature so that we can just submit the claim electronically?

Like other articles, the feature has a basic structure. The shape depends on the style of your magazine varies, but most feature articles have three acts, just like a story or an essay. It has a headline, an introduction. Forming as one, then a main body and a conclusion.
Cover the essential elements of whom, what, when, where, how and why. Put the most important things at the beginning, preferably in the first paragraph. Plan out what you are going to say beforehand. Look at your chosen theme carefully. Consider the questions suggested and attempt to answer some of them.
Choose a topic. Start with an idea. Research. Research has three purposes: Draft a query letter. Unless you are on assignment, the idea is to sell your article to an editor, and a good query letter is key to doing so. Do more research. Don't sit around waiting for a response. Feed the computer Write. Revise and edit.
A feature article can be divided into three parts: beginning, middle and end. The beginning consists of Intro or Lead. It is elaborated in the middle, and the conclusion is mentioned in the end. The beginning of a feature article consists of an intro or lead which purposefully intends to make readers read the article.
Each Feature Article has a headline. Feature Articles include a byline. The byline states the name of the writer. A photograph, graphics, illustration or cartoon usually accompanies Feature Articles. The text is written in column format.
Choose a topic. Start with an idea. Research. Draft a query letter. Do more research. Feed the computer Write. Revise and edit.
To write a feature article, start with a 2-3 sentence paragraph that draws your reader into the story. The second paragraph needs to explain why the story is important, so the reader keeps reading, and the rest of the piece needs to follow your outline, so you can make sure everything flows together how you intended.
Examples of feature stories include news features, profiles, spot features, trend stories, and live-ins. Feature stories can be found in the main news section of a newspaper, especially if they profile a person or group currently in the news.
