Is it too late? There is no problem in your case. You are entitled to change your signature at will and at different places at different times and occasions. out of the above documents you will have to sign as you have signed on them when you use the document.
There are no laws in India that dictate terms on signature change. The most sensible move would be to immediately make an affidavit and notarize it. The affidavit should contain an attachment that provides a specimen of the old and new signature. That is it!
Based on the regulations in article 1875 of the Civil Code, it is permissible to change the signature as long as the person who made it acknowledges the truth. Even if the signature has been changed, all previous documents using the old signature are still considered valid.
I understand that over the years my signature might have changed a lot and that may be the cause for my cheques getting dishonored. In order to resolve this issue, I would thus request you to please record my changed signature, so that I don't have to face any further issues regarding my signature not matching.
