The service works well and is very convenient, however I was disappointed by the way I was able to complete an entire form but was not advised it was not free until the form was completed after spending a couple hours working on it. Since this is a pay service, the consumer should be advised immediately upon accessing any forms on an internet search. In order to preserve my work, I had no choice but to subscribe. Perhaps you should market a new service that charges by the document. I would have gladly paid for that up front. The service itself works very well.

cool but needs a more user friendly interface. like small pdf for example. An easy converter option, with a file compress option would be cool. But as far as functionality and edit ability, PDF filler produces superior edits and is why I choose it over other products.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
You may be able to obtain a copy of the adoption record that is maintained by the superior court by filing a petition, under California Family Code 9200, in the clerk's office of the county superior court where the adoption was finalized.
You can order a copy of your original birth certificate from the General Register Office. For adoptions outside England or Wales you need to contact the General Register Office where you were adopted.
Negotiate with your biological parents and/or their representatives through a confidential intermediary. This is only an option if your parents are still alive (if they are dead, it is usually easier to unseal adoption records). Use the intermediary to explain your reasoning for wanting the records unsealed.
Paperwork. You need to file a petition for adoption in the municipality where you and the child to be adopted reside. The filing fee ranges by state and can cost anywhere between $20 and $300. The petition itself is somewhat detailed and courts are specific about how they want the documentation.
You aren't required to use an attorney for most adoptions. Typically, stepparent adoptions are more straightforward than other types. Many state court websites even publish the forms necessary to complete a stepparent adoption. An adoption involving an unrelated child can be more complicated.
Go to the county of the adoption and contact the county clerk to learn the rules about obtaining information for a closed adoption. You may need to be the adopted person or be of a certain age to access records. Ask for a petition form. Fill out the petition form and file it with the county court to review.
The short answer is sometimes. Legally the father has the same rights to a child as the mother. It is possible to put a child up for adoption without the father's consent. In the future, however, if the father decides that he wants his child, then this may place an already established adoption in jeopardy.
Under California law, a noncustodial parent's consent isn't necessary for adoption if the parent willfully fails to communicate with and to pay for the care, support, and education of the child (when they were able to do so) for a period of at least one year.
Generally, adoption requires the consent of both parents, provided they meet certain requirements. To gain parental rights, including the right to object to adoption, biological fathers unmarried to the mother must not only establish paternity, but also demonstrate a commitment to parenting the child.
Usually, an adoption can be reversed after it is finalized by either set of parents petitioning the court. The laws regarding reversal are quite strict, and it is absolutely necessary that reversal be in the child's best interest for anything to proceed.
”If a child has been adopted legally, then it's like giving up a birth child,” Freeman says. Those resources might include the adoption agency or the state, which would most likely put the child in foster care.
A child age 12 or older must consent to the adoption in open court. It is not necessary for a person to obtain consent to adopt from the following: An adult parent for whom a guardian is currently appointed. A parent whose parental rights have been terminated by court order.
Petition to Adopt. It states the legal basis on which you think you should be able to adopt this child, why the court has jurisdiction to grant the adoption, your qualifications to adopt this child and the name that you want to be given to your child when the requested adoption becomes final.
When birth parents and adoptive parents already know each other, they seek the assistance of an attorney for an independent adoption. Costs are usually lower than using a private agency, but generally range from $15,000 to $40,000.
American Adoptions' average cost of domestic adoption is in line with national averages. As we said above, Adoptive Families Magazine found that the average price for adoption is $43,000. For our domestic adoption programs, the average cost of adoption ranges from $$40,00050,000.
