Some of the text sizes seemed to change when editing, and the positioning of the text didn't always seem to be consistent with existing and added text

Follow these steps to change the friendly name of a certificate on a Microsoft IIS server. Step 1: Create a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) Snap-in for managing certificates. Open the Certificates (Local Computer) snap-in you added, and select Personal > Certificates.
To change the common name after the certificate has been issued you must generate a new Certificate Signing Request (CSR) specifying the correct common name. For this to be done you will require to purchase a new certificate. Alternatively you may be able to add the required domain as a SAN.
The Common Name (AKA CN) represents the server name protected by the SSL certificate. The certificate is valid only if the request hostname matches the certificate common name. Most web browsers display a warning message when connecting to an address that does not match the common name in the certificate.
Under Servers, under Local Site, click the management server for which you want to update the server certificate. Under Tasks, click Manage Server Certificate, and then click Next. In the Manage Server Certificate panel, click Update the server certificate, click Next, and then click Yes.
The subject of the certificate is the entity its public key is associated with (i.e. the “owner” of the certificate). The subject field identifies the entity associated with the public key stored in the subject public key field. The subject name MAY be carried in the subject field and/or the subjectAltName extension.
In Windows Internet Explorer, click Continue to this website (not recommended). Click the Certificate Error button to open the information window. Click View Certificates, and then click Install Certificate. On the warning message that appears, click Yes to install the certificate.
Right-click Windows key and open Control Panel. Select Internet Options and open Advanced tab. Locate Security section and open it. Find to Warn about certificate address mismatch option and uncheck it. Click Apply and OK to save the changes. Finally, reboot your PC.
In Windows Internet Explorer, click Continue to this website (not recommended). Click the Certificate Error button to open the information window. Click View Certificates, and then click Install Certificate. On the warning message that appears, click Yes to install the certificate.
