The copyright symbol (©), the word “Copyright,” or the abbreviation “Copy.” The year you first created and published the work. The person or entity that owns the copyright.
You can place the copyright symbol on any original piece of work you have created. The normal format would be to include alongside the copyright symbol the year of first publication and the name of the copyright holder, however there are no particular legal requirements regarding this.

The symbol ©, or the word Copyright, or the abbreviation, Copy. The first year of publication. The name of the copyright holder (presumably, your name)
Adding the symbol or any other copyright notice is no longer necessary to receive protection. Now, you receive absolute protection as soon as you create your work. Putting a notice on your work informs people that your work is copyrighted. Often people don't fully understand what is and isn't copyrighted.
Use of the copyright symbol is more similar to use of the trademark symbol, as work does not need to be registered in order to use it. You can place the copyright symbol on any original piece of work you have created.
US law no longer requires the use of a copyright notice, although placing it on a work does confer certain benefits to the copyright holder. For works first published on or after March 1, 1989, use of the copyright notice is optional. Before March 1, 1989, the use of the notice was mandatory on all published works.
