Easy to use! I found the system very easy to use and have only scratched the surface. Converting documents to an editable form was easy to do and the system made it easy to find available PDF or other formatted versions online. Saving different versions or templates was a bit of a challenge but that was easily remedied.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
U.S. blood centers sometimes exclude women with a history of pregnancy from donation of blood products like platelets or plasma, due to a condition called transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRACI), Katz said. "Some of this suppressive regulation could last long after the pregnancy.”
Directed donation (for a family member or friend) Donating blood for a family member, friend, or other specified patient is called directed donation. The donor must meet the same requirements as for regular blood donation, and the donor's blood must match the blood type of the recipient.
In the United States, you must wait 12 months after getting a tattoo or body piercing before donating blood if your state does not regulate tattoo facilities. If your tattoo parlors are regulated by your state, you are cleared to donate immediately.
Poplin's liver and kidneys failed following a serious blood infection. Blood and platelets are needed for many reasons. Accident and burn victims, heart surgery patients, organ transplant patients, and those receiving treatment for leukemia, cancer or sickle cell disease may all need blood.
That's because there's less water in your blood to dilute the alcohol. As a result, the amount of booze in your blood is more concentrated, so it packs a greater punch.
Drink extra fluids for the next day or two. Avoid strenuous physical activity or heavy lifting for the next five hours. If you feel lightheaded, lie down with your feet up until the feeling passes. Keep the bandage on your arm and dry for five hours.
You must wait a minimum of 56 days between whole blood donations. You must wait at least 7 days after donating blood before you can donate platelets. After an automated double red cell collection, you must wait 112 days before donating again.
The minimum interval between 2 donations is 12 weeks (3 months). Platelet (aphaeresis) donors may donate more frequently than — as often as once every two weeks and up to 24 times per year. This is because the body replenishes platelets and plasma more quickly than red cells.
The body is able to compensate lost blood in 24 hours, but red blood cells take few weeks. A person can donate once every three months, but not more than five times in a year. People with health problems will have to refrain from donating blood.
You must wait at least eight weeks (56 days) between donations of whole blood and 16 weeks (112 days) between Power Red donations. Platelet apheresis donors may give every 7 days up to 24 times per year. Regulations are different for those giving blood for themselves (autologous donors).
Platelet (apheresis) donors may donate more frequently. This is because the body replenishes platelets and plasma more quickly than red cells. Platelets will return to normal levels within about 72 hours of donating. Plasma (the liquid portion of your blood) will return to normal levels within a couple of days.
General Guidelines To donate blood or platelets, you must be in good general health, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be at least 16 years old. Parental consent is required for blood donation by 16-year-olds; 16 year olds are NOT eligible to donate platelets.
Those younger than age 17 are almost always legal minors (not yet of the age of majority) who cannot give consent by themselves to donate blood.
Every day. While one pint (375 ml) of blood can save three lives, about 6 lakh liters of blood is wasted as per last year. Blood cannot be manufactured, it can be donated by a donor but only 8 out of 1,000 voluntarily donate blood.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR DONATION. To protect patients, your blood is tested for several types of hepatitis, HIV, syphilis, and other infections. If your blood tests positive, it will not be given to a patient. You will be notified about any positive test result which may disqualify you from donating in the future.
