Top notch customer support I needed to cancel my account because I didn't realize I had a yearly reoccurring subscription. The support staff was VERY easy to work with. The product itself was great to use for what I needed; it was user friendly even for the not so tech savvy. I was most pleased with how quickly the customer service representatives and support were able to resolve my issues. If I ever need to use this companies product again, I wouldnt hesitate.

Recording company details (name, contact info) Artist details (group name, names of each artist, contact info) Production details, e.g. studio address, recording session dates, control over song selections on the recording, and control over album title.
For instance, if a manager requests a four-year term, perhaps you can negotiate it down to three years. If the term ends, you can always try to renew it. Try and build in some outs. In other words, ways that you can terminate the contract early if things don't work out the way you had hoped.
A recording contract (commonly called a record contract or record deal) is a legal agreement between a record label and a recording artist (or group), where the artist makes a record (or series of records) for the label to sell and promote.
The Single Song Contract is probably the most basic publishing agreement a songwriter can enter into. Under this contract, the songwriter usually assigns 50% (or in some cases, 100%) of the publishing rights of a song to the publisher for a certain period of time, usually between 12 and 24 months.
Record labels are companies that market recorded music and corresponding videos. They engage in a wide range of functions in the music industry, including new artist recruitment and development (known as A&R, which stands for artist and repertoire), music publishing, and copyright enforcement.
Unlike publishing royalties (which get paid to publishers and songwriters), digital royalties get paid to: Featured artists 45% gets paid to the primary artist/s (the one whose name is probably on the album cover). Non-featured artists 5% gets paid to a fund for session players, backup musicians, etc.
Musicians make money from royalties, advances, playing live, selling merchandise, and licensing fees for their music. Sounds like a lot of revenue streams, but don't forget they often have to share the money with the people listed above: mechanical royalties and performance rights royalties.
Radio airplay is considered a public performance. Public performances generate performance royalties for songwriters, which are collected by the Pros (ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC). In the US, terrestrial broadcasters (AM or FM stations) do not pay performers or sound recording copyright owners; they only pay the songwriters.
The Producer Agreement It is typically the record label that funds the upfront recording costs, with the producer providing a written assignment of ownership in the sound recording copyright(s) to the record label.
Many producers receive a percentage of an artist's royalties earned on an album. The record royalty to the artist is around 15% to 16% of the sales price of the audio product. The record royalty for a music producer is usually between 3% and 4% of the record's sales price, or 20% to 25% of the artist's royalties.
As a producer there are two copyrights that come into play in your business under the copyright law: one in the sound recording and one in the underlying musical composition or song.
New producers receive between zero and $3,500 per song; mid-level producer get $3,500 to $7,500 per song; and famous produces receive an advance of between $10,000 and $15,000 per song.
Producers in hip hop and electronic music can make money in lots of ways, especially since they play a lot of different roles too, like the artist, composers and sometimes engineer of their own instrumentals. Theirs always working with other artist and charging them an upfront fee to record to your music.
Corporate production houses (like Marvel or the Weinstein Company) that produce the film on budgets drawn from investors' money and/or their own financial reserves. Independent productions that have investors (which may be big companies like Weinstein or Fox) that fund the production.
