For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
As we all known, all recipients in To, CC or BCC fields, will get the attachments when sending emails with attachments. However, some users want to send the attachments to the To recipients only, with the CC and BCC recipients just getting the message without the attachments.
When you Cc a person on an email, the Cc list can be seen by other recipients on the chain. Hitting Reply All ensures the Cc'd person receives future emails that are part of this thread.
Cc: (Carbon Copy) — Put the email address(es) here if you are sending a copy for their information (and you want everyone to explicitly see this) BCC: (Blind Carbon Copy) - Put the email address here if you are sending them a Copy and you do not want the other recipients to see that you sent it to this contact.
BCC stands for blind carbon copy. Unlike with CC, no one but the sender can see the list of BCC recipients. Someone on the BCC list can see everything else, including the CC list and the contents of the email. However, the BCC list is secret no one can see this list except the sender.
Cc means carbon copy and BCC means blind carbon copy. For emailing, you use Cc when you want to copy others publicly, and BCC when you want to do it privately. Any recipients on the BCC line of an email are not visible to others on the email.
BCC stands for blind carbon copy. Unlike with CC, no one but the sender can see the list of BCC recipients. However, the BCC list is secret no one can see this list except the sender. If a person is on the BCC list, they'll see only their own email on the BCC list.
As you know, recipients can't tell who you included in the BCC field, or even if you used the BCC field at all. To see who you BCC'd in a previous email, just open the Scent mail folder and open the message. You'll see the BCC field preserved for future reference.
The BCC recipient can only choose to reply to you. They have no other option. The To and CC recipients can still choose reply to all. They cannot reply to the BCC recipient — they don't know he/she got the email.
With Gmail, each BCC recipient will see their own address in BCC, but no other recipients will see it. TO and CC recipients will not know that you included any BCC addresses. All recipients included in BCC can see each other's addresses.
BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy. Normally when you send an email, recipients can see who else received the email because they can see the To and CC fields. But they cannot see the BCC field which means that if you BCC someone on an email, the other people who received the same email will not know.
In a new message, go to the Options tab. In a reply or forwarded message, go to the Message tab. In the Show Fields group, select BCC. In the Bcc field, enter the recipients whose addresses you want to hide from other recipients.
As you know, recipients can't tell who you included in the BCC field, or even if you used the BCC field at all. But that doesn't mean you can't. To see who you BCC'd in a previous email, just open the Scent mail folder and open the message. You'll see the BCC field preserved for future reference.
In e-mail terminology, Cc stands for “carbon copy" and Bcc stands for "Blind carbon copy”. The difference between Cc and Bcc is that carbon copy (CC) recipients are visible to all other recipients whereas those who are BCCed are not visible to anyone.
BCC stands for blind carbon copy. Unlike with CC, no one but the sender can see the list of BCC recipients. For example, if you have bob@example.com and jake@example.com in the BCC list, neither Bob nor Jake will know that the other received the email.
The CC field is used to refer to the concept of the carbon copy as it sends additional copies of a single email to one or more recipients. The BCC field is used when you want to email multiple recipients but do not want any of them to know about the other people you have sent them to.
