I've edited 4 documents with pdf filler which was fairly easy considering the editing I needed done was fairly simple. I'm a little disappointed that there is no on-demand training because I've only used some basic features & would like to learn alot more on all of the features that are available & how to use them

Step #1: Contact Your Employer. First, you should contact your employer, tell them about the problem, and ask them to issue you a new or corrected W-2. Step #2: Call the IRS. Step #3: Use IRS Form 4852 to File Your Return.
Employers are required to correct errors on Forms W-2 as quickly as possible. The penalty for filing an incorrect W-2 with the SSA increases over time. To avoid penalties, a Form W-2c is generally required within 30 days of becoming aware of an error.
What happens if accidentally used the wrong w2 to file my taxes. Once you're into the amend process, you can delete the existing W-2 and enter the correct one under Federal Taxes, Wages and Income, updating the W-2 section. Amended returns are filed on paper by mail, and it takes the IRS 6 -12 weeks to process them.

Use Form 4852. It's assumed that you can't file your taxes without a W-2 or other income statement. You can file IRS Form 4852, which is a substitute for a W-2 or 1099-R, and use it to prepare your tax return. You will need to provide an acceptable estimate of your wages and tax withholding for the year.
You cannot get your W-2 online. Furthermore, you get a W-2 from your employer. Or you can pay the Social Security Administration $86 for it if it is for a previous year. Or you can get a wage and income transcript from the IRS that will show wages reported by an employer to the IRS.
If you can't get your Form W-2 from your employer, and you previously attached it to your paper tax return, you can order a copy of the entire return from the IRS for a fee. Complete and mail Form 4506, Request for Copy of Tax Return along with the required fee. Allow 75 calendar days for us to process your request.
