After a slow start and feeling misled by the "fill in your form for free" and then having to pay, I did get a full refund. The tech support was excellent - they were the only ones, that I could find, that could get me the rather complex fill in form from NY State Tax authorities (RP-5217). I still feel I should not have to pay a third party to file a required tax form - but that is an issue I'll have to take up with NYS, wish me good luck with that one.

I am delighted that I found this PDF filler own line. I tried Adobe; however, I could not understand how it works. This is simple and easy to use. It is not difficult to drag and drop a file and then begin to fill in the proper document.

To see what priority dates are becoming “current” (meaning that people with those dates are now becoming eligible for visas/green cards), you should check the Visa Bulletin published by the U.S. State Department every month. It shows a list of visa cutoff dates, in every category.

A current priority date means there is no waiting involved, and an immigrant visa number is available. The priority date always matters until you get your green card. Family based. Your priority date is the date when Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative was received by USCIS.
For all others in the same boat, currently at New Delhi consulate it is taking 4 weeks to get an interview date for immigrant visas once the priority date is current. You get a date which is 4-5 weeks away, so you have enough time to prepare for medical tests and start planning the travel if everything is cleared.
When a case's priority date becomes current (or sometimes shortly before that), USCIS would review the case and identify any new issues such as expired medicals and issue an RFE. There is no standard processing time for when a case is to be approved once its priority date becomes current.
Priority date. For family-sponsored applicants, the priority date is the date an immigration petition, filed on behalf of him or her, is received by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
You can find your priority date on the I-797 form mailed by USCIS approving your I-130 petition. Current: In the context of the visa bulletin, current means no backlog and no wait time for a green card. A particular priority date becomes current once it reaches the front of the line and a green card is available.
What is my I-485 priority date? For employment-based (EX) petitions, the priority date is the date the labor certification was filed with the U.S. Department of Labor (EB-2 and EB-3) or the date the I-140 immigrant petition was filed with the USCIS if a Labor Certification was not needed (EB-1).
