Does your driver's license name have to match your Social Security card?
All applicants for a driver license and/or identification (DL/ID) card must submit his/her social security number to DMV. The name and birthdate you provide on your DL/ID card application must match the name and birthdate the SSA has for you in its database.
Does your passport need to match your Social Security card?
Your passport and social security name do not need to match. An airline or TSA will never ask for your social security card. You may continue to travel internationally under your maiden or previous married name.
