Converting Word to PDF on iPhone Find the Word document in Files or other file manager apps where the Doc, DOCX files are saved on your iPhone or iPad. Select the Word file, then tap the Action menu in the bottom left corner, choose Convert to PDF, the Word doc will be converted to PDF instantly.
From the Apple menu, select System Preferences. Go to the Security & Privacy pane. Select the FileVault tab. Click the lock to make changes and click the Turn On FileVault button. As the warning states, store this key in a safe place. Restart your Mac and the encryption process will begin.
Open a file that you want to convert into a PDF. Click File on the top menu and pick Print (or simply press Control + P). Click on PDF at the bottom-left of the Print menu, and choose Save as PDF. Name your PDF. Specify the location to store your file using the Where drop-down menu.
Once the PDF file opens in Documents app, tap on the Menu button (three dots) in the top right corner to bring up menu at the lower section of your iPhone screen. Choose Set Password. Then type in the same password twice. Finally, hit the Set button to confirm and encrypt your PDF file on iPhone or iPad.
Right-click on the Word document and choose “Open With” > “Preview”. Click on the “File” tab on the top menu bar, then select “Export as PDF”. On the newly pop-up window, enter a file name for the new PDF, and change the file extension name from “.
Open the PDF and choose Tools > Protect > Encrypt > Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
