No way to easily add additional pages in a template I used. Had to keep erasing everything to start new page. “Next” button skips all over the page, so this isn’t tablet-friendly. Waste of my annual subscription fee.

A W-8BEN form means we can claim a US tax reduction for you on your dividends and interest from US shares. Withholding tax rates can be reduced from 30% to 15%, or to 0% if your shares are held in a SIPP.
The purpose of the W8-BEN is to: Establish that someone is a foreign person (certificate of foreign status). It is used at audit time to support a 30% tax rate. Claim a reduced rate of, or exemption from withholding as a resident of a foreign country with which the United States has an income tax treaty.

What is a W-8 Form? Form W-8 is filled out by foreign entities (citizens and corporations) in order to claim exempt status from certain tax withholding. The form is used to declare an entity's status as non-resident alien or foreign national who works outside the United States.
Whereas the W-8BEN-E form exempts a foreign entity from the 30% tax rate based on a country's treaty status, the W-8BEN form documents a business as owing the full 30% rate, and ensures that the tax is filed as payable.
W-8BEN-E is an important tax document which allows businesses operating outside the U.S. to claim tax exemption on U.S.-sourced income. The official document title is Certificate of Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding and Reporting (Entities).
