Right-click the table or layer in the table of contents and choose Open Attribute Table. Right-click the field header in the table window of the field you want to delete and click Delete Field. Click Yes to confirm the deletion. Deleting a field cannot be undone.
You can also delete a field in the attribute table view by right-clicking a column and choosing To delete, or by selecting a value in the column and clicking the Delete button on the toolbar above the view. Learn more about common table and attribute tasks.
In RCMP, right-click the shape file layer in the table of contents and click Open Attribute Table. Right-click the field heading in the table and click Delete Field. Click Yes in the warning window.
