Very helpful in my law practice. Ease of filling out a variety of documents. Easy to use. I like being able to switch from the wizard option to the self fill-out option. It is usable with all the legal forms I fill out. I do not like how I cannot change font size when using the wizard to fill out form. Sometimes I don't have enough room in the space to type what I need. I also don't like how you lose what you have filled in if you switch from the wizard half-way through.

In the state of California, it is required that you have a completed bill of sale before you register the vehicle. Typically, the seller drafts the bill. The contents of a formal bill of sale differ from state to state. Some states require a bill of sale for a car to be notarized; a few require that it include an odometer reading. Other states do not require it altogether.
Bills of sale are always required to register vessels in the state. All bills of sale must be notarized or have two witnesses to the requisite signatures. While there are official bills of sale provided, there is no general form that covers all of Alabama.

Information in a bill of sale for a motor vehicle includes a description of the vehicle, the VIN, and the odometer. It will also include the price as well as the names of the buyer and the seller. It should also be signed and dated by both. A bill of sale for a general item doesn't need to be notarized.
Lastly, the bill of sale must be signed by both the buyer and the seller and, in order to make it official, it is a great idea to have these signatures notarized. While notarization isn't entirely necessary, it is helpful to have (just in case). Make sure you provide a copy of the bill of sale to each party.
