Document Software Workflow: make editing documents online a breeze

The Portable Document Format or PDF is a universal file format used in business, thanks to the availability. You can open them on any device, and they'll be readable identically. You can open it on any computer or phone — it will appear same.

The next point is security: PDF files are easy to encrypt, so it's safe to share any confidential data in them. That’s why it’s essential to choose a secure editor, especially when working online. In addition to password protection, some platforms give you access to an opening history to track down people who read or completed the document without your notice.

pdfFiller is an online document management and editing tool that lets you create, modify, sign, and send your PDF files directly from your web browser tab. The editor integrates with major CRM solutions and allows users to edit and sign documents from other services, such as Google Docs or Office 365. Once you finish editing a document, mail it to recipients to complete, and you'll get a notification when it’s completed.

Use editing tools to type in text, annotate and highlight. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to the third-party integration cloud. Add images into your PDF and edit its appearance. Ask other users to fill out the fields and request an attachment if needed. Add fillable fields and send documents for signing. Change a page order.

Follow these steps to edit your document:

01
Browse for your document from the pdfFiller's uploader.
02
Click the Tools tab to use editing features such as text erasing, annotation, highlighting, etc.
03
Insert additional fields to fill in specific data and put an e-signature.
04
When finished, click Done and proceed to downloading, sending or printing your document.

So far so good! Can't figure out a way to fill in dates properly though without dragging text in - or change the check box from cross to tick. Overall though saving a lot of time!
