In ways its harder to use, does not put signs in for you and does not calculate for you like the regular form.. but this is the only way I can save my form and make copies and edit it so this kind of saved me a ton of time!

What type of compression does DOCX use?
The DOCX file is different from the previous Microsoft Word programs, which use the file extension DOC, in the sense that whereas a DOC file uses a text or binary format for storing a document, a DOCX file is based on XML and uses ZIP compression for a smaller file size.
Should I use DOC or DOCX?
DOC is a document format used by Microsoft Word, while DOCX is its successor. Both are relatively open, but DOCX is more efficient and creates smaller, less corruptible files. If given the choice, use DOCX. DOC is only necessary if the file will be used by pre-2007 versions of Word.
