Easy to use for 1099 filings Use for 1099s and other tax filings. Used this product for 1099 filings.. simple and easy to use except for ability to make edits (address changes etc.) once filed. Once a 1099 is filed, program does not make it easy to go back and edit a document. Also, any updated filings are charged another filing fee, which seems excessive.

The license is issued by the state insurance commissioner in the state where you intend to solicit and sell insurance and is separated into different insurance types, including life and disability, health, auto or worker's compensation.
With an A&H license, you are generally allowed authority in California to sell products offering coverage for sickness, bodily injury, or accidental death (that may include disability income benefits). The licensee may also transact 24-hour care coverage and Long Term Care insurance.
In order to sell health insurance in any U.S. state, you must have a current license. Many states issue a Life & Health license that covers both types of insurance. Certain non-sales positions within the insurance sector may require this license as well.
To receive a California license to become a health insurance agent or broker a person must complete a state approved insurance course, pass a licensing exam, be fingerprinted for a background check, and have their application approved by the California Department of Insurance.

You should complete 50 hours of training from an IR DAI approved training institution to act as a Life Insurance agent. If you are seeking a license for the first time to act as a composite (i.e. Life) insurance agent, you will have to complete 75 hours of training. The exam takes place online.
In order to obtain a license, an applicant must meet the following requirements: Complete a General Insurance Agent application, provide applicable supporting documents and pay the required fee of $150.00.
