Draw in PDF Documents

Have you ever needed to draw on PDF forms in order to point out a particular item, underline something, or make graphic connections between different parts of a document?

In the past, you probably had to print the form, make your drawings, and either scan it or send a hard copy to wherever it needed to go. Besides needing a printer and a scanner, the process probably took you far too much time to complete.

Now there is a far easier way to draw on PDF forms. You can simply use pdfFiller’s editor to draw in PDF documents!

To get started, you can upload a form to your account or open a document that’s already there. When you open the form you will see a toolbar along the top of the page. Click the “Draw” button in the “Tools” tab.

Click and hold the button on the mouse to draw anything you'd like to. Release the mouse when you have finished drawing. Using the slider and the color box above your drawing, you can change respectively the thickness and color of the line.

Apart from drawing various shapes, you can draw arrows and straight lines. To draw an arrow, click the “Arrow” button in the “Tools” tab. You can drag and move the arrow anywhere in your document. Click the color box to change the color of the arrow. You can also use the slider before or after you draw to change the size.

To draw a straight line, click the “Line” button in the “Tools” tab. Click and drag to add the line anywhere in your document. Using the slider and the color box next to it, you can change the thickness and color of the line. In addition, you can always delete any line or shape you've drawn. Simply click on the shape and then click the “trash can” icon that will appear.

Good for business Works well most of the time with only about 5% of customers having difficulty signing documents. Plan to keep using PDFFILLER does everything I need it to do for my business: quick edits, templates and storage. Some workflow improvements could be made to save clicks and therefore time. Would like more flexibility to send templatized emails
