What do you like best?
In our busy world, it is great to find a tool like PDFfiller to make things easier and to make sure private information is kept private. We no longer send attachments that can be read in an email that has sensitive information. Using templates has cut down our document sharing time! We now create a template that can be used over and over again. The big win in the form filling tool is the ability to add validation for the data entry.
What do you dislike?
The only complaint I get from users is PDFfiller documents are not showing up in their primary inbox. They have to search for them. We made it mandatory to check the box to send a copy of the email notification to our email address. This has made it easier to forward the email with the secure link to the recipient if they can't seem to find the PDFfiller email generated to them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really take a look at your existing document and take the time to setup templates.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
In our office, we have tons of forms that need to have checkboxes and other types of validation done along with making sure it is easy for our users can easily sign the documents. PDFFiller provides the validation we need for our users to fill out forms properly. PDFfiller has multiple ways for users to sign electronically whether they are on their mobile device or their laptop; signing electronically is easy for them.

Very professional, highly recommended. I needed to create some fillable PDFs for a course I'm running and PDFfiller allowed me to do that with ease. I needed a bit of guidance on how to do it from their person in the chat box (who was very helpful and efficient) and, once they showed me what to do (it was easy), the software was great and pretty intuitive and allowed me to create fillable boxes neatly and easily - it gives you guidelines so you can line them up with each other. It's a pity they don't do a "one-off" fee of $5 or something, rather than a subscription because it's not something I need regularly, so I'd have been happy to just pay a little something toward using it, rather than signing up for the 30 day free trial. Highly recommended. Very professional. Lisa Cherry Beaumont of LisaCherryBeaumont.com

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Voiding a non-compete contract is possible in certain circumstances. For instance, if you can prove that you never signed the contract, or if you can demonstrate that the contract is against the public interest, you may be able to void the agreement.
Show Termination without Cause The courts do not always rule consistently on this point, but if you are part of a mass layoff or have been terminated from employment and yet did nothing wrong, any non-compete agreement you signed may be considered null and void.
The simple answer is that if you violate a non-compete agreement that is legally valid and enforceable under state law you may end up having to pay money to your former employer. In addition, the employer can also file a lawsuit against you for both money damages and an injunction.
On average, non-compete cases cost $10,000 or less. Many times an employer is seeking an injunction, which is the employer loses may result in a quicker resolution. Many times the issues are less factual and more legal. Legal issues require less discovery, which can be the most costly part of litigation.
The majority of U.S. states recognize and enforce various forms of non-compete agreements. A few states, such as California, Montana, North Dakota, and Oklahoma, totally ban non-compete agreements for employees, or prohibit all non-compete agreements except in limited circumstances.
Typically, the only way to fight a non-compete agreement is to go to court. If you are an employee (or former employee) who signed such an agreement, this means you must violate the agreement and wait to be sued. It may be that your former employer has never sued another employee to enforce the non-compete agreement.
A non-compete agreement is a contract between you and your current, and -- possibly -- former, employers that usually imposes some limitations to your employment options after you no longer work for this employer. Non-compete agreements usually apply to you when you have moved on to your next employer.
Even though a non-compete agreement can still be enforced when you are fired, you could potentially get out of it if the employer breaches your contract. You can also get out of the agreement if the employer fired you for a reason that is not just or fair.
Summing It Up. A noncompete agreement prohibits a former employee from working in a business that directly competes with the former employer. Courts will usually enforce noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements as long as there are reasonable time and geographical limitations on them.
Basically, a noncompete agreement restricts your employment opportunities after you leave your current job, regardless of whether you leave voluntarily. A noncompete can restrict your ability to do specific types of work or go to work for a company that competes with your current employer.
Many employers ask employees to sign noncompete agreements promising they will not work for a competitor after leaving their current job. A noncompete agreement won't be enforced if a court find that it is unreasonable. An agreement may be held unreasonable because it: lasts for too long.
However, in those situations where the non-compete was properly drafted and implemented, a court could award damages against you for any actual losses suffered by your employer, or in rare cases, a court will order that you are prevented from working for the competitor for the duration of the clause.
Your Rights Non-Compete Agreements. A non-compete agreement is a contract between an employee and employer. While an employer cannot require you to sign a non-compete, they may terminate, or choose not to hire you if you refuse to sign. Courts generally do not approve of non-compete agreements.
It is rare that the court will enforce a restrictive covenant that lasts for over 12 months, unless there are exceptional circumstances. This is subject, of course, to the covenants being reasonable and necessary to protect a legitimate business interest.
