Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Bids offer more detail than estimates and quotes, and they're common in the construction industry. Companies will bid for projects by specifying how much it will cost to complete it. Proposals usually provide the most detail and focus on showcasing value. Each has their place.
Both Bid and tender are used when a company needs certain goods or services from relevant suppliers. Tender is when a company places a request for these materials with complete specifications. The bids are the responses from the suppliers to those requests.
Analyze the project description and get to know your client. The first and most important step to writing is to pay attention to the needs of your client and if you found the project onlie, the job description. Be aware of your own strengths. Start strong. Be specific.
Keep your proposals short. My first proposals were long, and I tried to include everything I could in them. Capture the client's attention fast. Add your samples to the beginning of your application. Answer the Why should I work with you question. Be professional and friendly.

Bid Package means each of the bid packages (which may be phased bid packages) for each trade category included within the Work. The Bid Package is to include the following: (1) an invitation to bid; (2) copy of the proposed construction contract; and (3) all applicable Project Documents.
Get on the contractor's bidders list. Contact its office and ask how you can be placed on its bid list. Generally, it will require you to fill out a “Contractor Qualification Statement," which contains financial information, services offered by your company and your company history.
Proposals and RFPs A proposal is an agreement being submitted in anticipation of being signed, or otherwise legally accepted. If everything is in place, once that proposal has been accepted, it should become a legally binding contract on both parties.
A bid does not form a contract. In order for there to be a valid contract it has to be legal, there needs to be an offer, an acceptance of the offer and legal bargained for consideration. A bid is an offer; if you revoke your offer before the party accepts it a contract was never formed.
Most proposals are written in order to propose a sale to a potential client and a proposal generally outlines a solution of services to the requirements set out by the client. A contract is a binding agreement as well as a legal document between you and your client.
PROPOSAL. An offer for consideration or acceptance. It is a general rule that a proposal offered to another for acceptance may be withdrawn at any time before it is accepted, provided that notice of the withdrawal be given to the party to whom it was made. PROPOSITION — An offer to do something.
Simply put, yes, digital signatures are valid and enforceable. As long as certain requirements are met, they have the same legal effect as their written equivalents. Like a traditionally signed contract, one of the most important elements of validity is the signing party's intent to be bound.
The UETA has been adopted by 47 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The three states that have not adopted the BETA (New York, Illinois, and Washington) have all adopted similar laws making electronic signatures legally enforceable.
The ESIGN Act is a federal act, which means it affects people who do business online in all 50 states. The BETA, meanwhile, has been adopted on a state-by-state basis. Individual states have the option to adopt or reject the guidelines presented in the act.
