I have only just started using PDFiller.com and I am very happy with the product. My only compliant is that I was forced to subscribe to it without the option of a free trail etc When I did a search on the web for a free PDF Editor, PDFiller.com was one of the websites that popped up, I edited my document (which was a theory paper that I had already spent hours on !!) and when it went to saving it I could not without paying for service... so not a free PDF editor!!! And you can not subscribe month to month, you had to pay for a full year. I know that is business but very deceiving!

Just learning how to use it. I'm a paralegal with my husband's law firm and I think this will help manage my work flow and communication with clerical staff better.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Know that your nanny should be classified as a household employee. Obtain federal and state employer tax IDs. File a New Hire Report with the state. Withhold federal and possibly state income taxes from your nanny's pay each pay period. Withhold Social Security and Medicare taxes from your nanny's pay each pay period.
Paying on the books means that you, as an employer, document your Nanny's wages, pay in federal and state withholding (if your nanny requests it), social security, Medicare and other amounts via regular estimated payments/withholding.
Fill out Form W-4 before your first day of work When you're hired, your employer should give you a Form W-4 (and a state withholding form if you live in a state with income taxes) so they can determine how much in income taxes to withhold each pay period.
Present the Job Offer to the Nanny Meet with the nanny in person and present her with the work agreement you have drafted. Go over each item of the agreement with her to make sure she understands your expectations and the salary and benefits she will receive if she accepts your offer.
Health insurance reimbursement. Health insurance is fast becoming a standard benefit for nannies, either by employers purchasing health insurance plans for their nannies or by reimbursing them for the partial cost of a plan. Cell phone reimbursement. Mileage reimbursement.
When isn't a nanny a household employee? While most nannies are household employees, some could be self-employed. Self-employed child care providers provide their own supplies or equipment and offer their services to the public, perhaps for a number of different clients.
Nanny has received NO tax forms from employer: The nanny is still responsible for reporting her nanny wages and filing an income tax return even if she did not receive a form W-2. This is accomplished by completing Form 4852 Substitute Form W-2.
Make sure you pay extra for additional chores. If your nanny will now be caring for a new infant in addition to your other kids, you should definitely raise your nanny's rate. It doesn't have to be a large raise, but it should start at a few more dollars per hour, to account for her new responsibilities.
We recommend that nannies wait to ask for a raise until they have worked for at least one year with a family. You will want to use our nanny contract article as a guide. If you're anxious and want to show how career-driven you are, you could ask for an informal review after six months of work.
Average Nanny Pay Rates The national average hourly rate for a nanny is $19.14 per hour. The national average gross weekly salary for full-time live-out nannies is $766. The national average gross weekly salary for full-time live-in nannies is $670.
If a babysitter or nanny is self-employed, you don't have reporting or withholding requirements. The babysitters still must report their income to the IRS. However, you don't need to issue a Form 1099-MISC or withhold taxes. This is because you aren't paying the babysitter in the course of your trade or business.
A household employee must be provided a Form W-2 only true independent contractors are provided a 1099 form. Additionally, an independent contractor is free to bring their own helpers, or to have some or all of the work done by others, without consultation with the household.
A business may pay an independent contractor and an employee for the same or similar work, but there are important legal differences between the two. For the employee, the company withholds income tax, Social Security, and Medicare from wages paid. For the independent contractor, the company does not withhold taxes.
