Works for everything Overall I am a fan of the software. I know not everything is supposed to work 100% of the time and things will happen so that doesn't deter me from using the software or recommending it someone else. I liked the ability to install and go, this software worked for getting documents in, filling them out, and getting them back out. I like the options and the ability to even save some data. Sometimes it has crashed or felt a little clunky. I am unsure if it is saving the data but during the saving process it has crashed on me and that is something i wasn't as much a fan of.

Book your reservations and purchase your ticket online, either through an airline website or on a travel-comparison site such as expedia.com, orbitz.com or travelocity.com. After the airline has charged your credit card, you'll receive a confirmation number by e-mail.
By its very name, an "Electronic Ticket", or an “E-ticket" is not a physical item - it's just an entry in a computer system. As a result, you do not need to physically present any specific document at time of check-in in order to get your boarding pass. So technically, no, you do not need to print anything out at all.

Select an option for looking up your flight. You can search for your flight by confirmation number, credit/debit card number, or ticket number. Enter the passenger's name and other requested information. Click the FIND MY TRIP button. Follow the on-screen instructions to change your reservation (optional).
Log onto www.makemytrip.com. Click on the Customer Support link. Click on Print E-Tickets button under your product type (Domestic Flights, International Flights, Rail) Enter the MakeMyTrip Booking ID corresponding to your booking and the Contact Number given at the time of making the Booking.
If it's not enough, tell the agent your booking code. Some airlines like AirAsia even has a mobile app that generates e-boarding passes. You're only checked for e-ticket in some airports by the security, showing it from your phone is just fine, but it's more handy if you have a hard copy of it.
An e-ticket (short for electronic ticket) is stored in the airline's reservation system and therefore eliminates the need for a printed airline ticket. Since all the ticketing information is stored electronically, you will only receive an email confirmation.

After arriving at the airport, go to the check-in desk and show the agent your passport and ticket. They'll compare your ticket against the airline's database and issue you a printed boarding pass when everything checks out. This boarding pass is what enables you to get on the plane.
Log in to the email you provided when getting the e-ticket. Review your trip details. Print the email (e-ticket) so you have your boarding pass reference code, the e-ticket number, your trip ID and the payment information.
An e-ticket carries the same information as a paper ticket. The major difference is an e-ticket is located in an airline's computer database, instead of the passenger's suitcase. Once the airline confirms the traveler's information, it issues a boarding pass that the traveler uses to board the plane.
E-Ticket / Electronic ticket: The barcode is available by click the I symbol on the ticket and scrolling to the Barcode.
When you purchase an e-ticket, you receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to print your itinerary, boarding pass, proof of purchase receipt or any documents needed for your travel. Print e-tickets at home before going to your place of departure to abbreviate time.
