Emphasize your name, affiliation, and secondary contact information. Keep colors simple and consistent. Use design hierarchy. Include a call-to-action (and update it regularly). Include clickable icons linking to your social profiles. Make links trackable. Use space dividers.
Making a Professional Email Signature. You should think of a professional email signature as an electronic, 21st-century business card. At its most basic, a professional email signature used by an employee includes personal information such as their full name, job title, phone number and email address.
To set up signature on Outlook, open Outlook and compose a new email. Click "Signature" and then choose the "Signatures" option. Choose "New" and name your signature (e.g. "personal") Type whatever text you want in the signature field.

Keep it Simple. Not everyone needs an elaborate email signature format to accompany their communications. Use Color. Limit Information. Add a Photo. Include your Logo. Balance your Content. Include Social Media Icons. Share Company Information.
Place your cursor into the area of your post or email where you would want to add the signature. Right click, and select the option “paste" from the drop down menu. This will append the text to the end of your message.
Also called a digital signature, it is any way of signing a non-printed document. However, it should be mentioned that an electronic signature doesn't necessarily mean legally binding because it refers to any online signature, which can include a copy-paste of your own signature.

Place the cursor in your Word document where you want to insert a signature. Click the Insert tab. Select Signature Line. A menu will appear. Fill out the required fields. Select OK.
Create a signature line in Word or Excel In the document or worksheet, place your pointer where you want to create a signature line. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click the Signature Line list, and then click Microsoft Office Signature Line.
For desktop users, the industry standard email signature size is about 650px, but we recommend that you use the slightly smaller dimension of 600px wide. This will make it a lot easier to create a clean email signature design that won't have its edges cropped.
