How do you endorse a business check?

Do business checks need to be endorsed?
Generally speaking, checks must be endorsed in the name of the person or business that appears in the “Pay to the order of" space. This is a security feature that prevents the check from being cashed outright and requires a bank teller to deposit the check into the business's account.
