I didn't know it was going to cost money. I am just a private person trying to get Medicare reimbursement. The print is very tiny so proofreading is hard.

So far it's been pretty good although I haven't figured everything out yet as far as the features but I'm working on it. I like it so far though for what I needed it for. I will continue to pay for my subscription and continue using the service. Thanx your service has been and will continue to be a BIG HELP to me.

By using the first three numbers of anyone's SSN, you can often tell in which State they were born, or at the least, one of the States where they once lived.
Social security numbers (SSNs) are not random numbers. They are assigned regionally and in batches. Area numbers — The first three numbers originally represented the state in which a person first applied for a social security card.
SSN's have never been 10 digits (and mine is a lot older than 1992.). Medicare ID numbers are the SSN, plus a letter.
There are 1 billion 9-digit numbers (000,000,000 through 999,999,999). There are 45 different combinations of two different numerals (10 × 9 divided by 2). There are 512 (2 to the 9th power) different permutations for any two numbers to be used in a 9-digit number. 45 x 512 = 23,040 - 10 = 23,030.
A Social Security Number (SSN) consists of nine digits, commonly written as three fields separated by hyphens: AAA-GG-SSSS. The first three-digit field is called the “area number". The central, two-digit field is called the “group number". The final, four-digit field is called the “serial number".
The social security number (SSN) is a nine-digit number issued to an individual by the Social Security Administration (SSA). Social security numbers are considered invalid by the SSA when they meet any of the following criteria: All zeros (000000000) Consecutive digits in numerical order (123456789)
The first set of three digits is called the Area Number. The second set of two digits is called the Group Number. The final set of four digits is the Serial Number.
Decode Social Security Number. The nine-digit Social Security Number is broken into 3 parts — the Area, Group, and Series. The Area number is the first three digits of a Social Security Number, the Group number is the middle two digits and the Series number is the final four digits.
Some states, including California and New York, prohibit employers from displaying an employee's Social Security number on identification badges, human resource records (except those required by taxes and payroll) or parking permits.
Can employers access your employment history via social security? No. Your social security number can be used to verify your identity, but it can't reveal your work history. For that, the employer would need you to provide a list of the places where you've worked.
According to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the answer is yes. The IRS Hiring Employees guidance reads: “You are required to get each employee's name and Social Security Number (SSN) and to enter them on Form W-2. You may, but are not required to, photocopy the social security card if the employee provides it.
When it comes to the social security number on job application question, let's get one thing out of the way upfront: it is not illegal for an employer to ask you for your social security number (SSN). However, you are in no way obligated to provide your SSN if you feel the employer's request is unreasonable.
Asking for the social security number on an application is legal in most states, but it is an awful practice. (Some states prohibit private employers from collecting this information for fear of identity theft.) It is not recommended that you provide this information on a job application.
Federal law mandates that state Departments of Motor Vehicles, tax authorities, welfare offices, and other governmental agencies request your SS number as proof that you are who you claim to be.
