Click Pages & Sections, then select Manage Pages. Click Add. Select Drop-down menu, add Menu Title, and click Create Menu. An empty drop-down menu appears in your Pages & Navigation list and the navigation bar.
Select the cells that you want to contain the lists. On the ribbon, click DATA > Data Validation. In the dialog, set Allow to List. Click in Source, type the text or numbers (separated by commas, for a comma-delimited list) that you want in your drop-down list, and click OK.
Tap on the cell to select. Tap the Format button (upper left — paint brush) Select format, then Pop-Up Menu. Define the values and the default.
Helpful answers If you have a pop-up menu cell selected and open the inspector to edit the menu list, the edit applies only to that iteration of the menu. Open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Select the cell or cells where you want to create a drop-down list. Click Data validation. Next to “Criteria,” choose an option: ... The cells will have a Down arrow. ... If you enter data in a cell that doesn't match an item on the list, you'll see a warning.
Select the “Items from a list” option from the “Criteria” drop down options. Select the “Create list from range” option, then click the table icon to the right. Click and drag across the cells that you want to include in your drop-down list. Then click the “Ok” button in the “What data?” pop up window.
