To create a nickname for a course: Pick a course to create a nickname for, and then click on the settings icon for that course. Next, enter the nickname in the text field and choose a color for the course card. Click Apply. This will save your change.
Open Settings. In Course Navigation, click the Settings link. Open Course Details. Click the Course Details tab. Edit Course Name and Code. Edit the course name and code by typing in the name [1] and course code [2] fields. Update Course Details. Click the Update Course Details button. View Changes.
To create a nickname for a course: Pick a course to create a nickname for, and then click on the settings icon for that course. Next, enter the nickname in the text field and choose a color for the course card. Click Apply. This will save your change.
You can customize the courses you want to show in your Dashboard (course list). Click on the (1) Courses icon on the left, then (2) All Courses. Click the Star icon next to the courses that you wish to see on your Dashboard (course list).
In the Global Navigation menu on the left, click Courses, then click All Courses. Select the star next to a course title to display that course's card on the Dashboard. Clear the star to hide the card.
In Canvas, click the Courses menu, and click Remove me from unneeded courses. A list of your unpublished and migrated courses is displayed. If you have more than 10 courses, type part of a course name and click Search to filter by a course name or semester. Check the courses from which you want to be unenrolled.
Course Color To change the color, click the card Settings icon [1], then select a new color. The check mark indicates the selected color [2]. Click the Apply button [3]. If you change the color for a course in the Calendar, the Dashboard will also update with the new calendar color.
