I was looking for an app that will convert a sensitive file that has security feature that only the user or the owner of the file will only see it after it was being edited.

Summary of 2019 Tax Law Changes If you're filing as a single taxpayer in 2019or you're married and filing separately you will likely be better off taking the standard deduction of $12,000 if your itemized deductions total less than that amount.
You can deduct the portion that exceeds 10% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) in 2019. This threshold is up from 7.5% in 2018. This means that if your AGI is $55,000, and you had $7,500 in qualifying medical expenses, your deduction would be limited to $2,000: the amount that exceeds $5,500 or 10% of your AGI.
Your expenses are $1,250 above the threshold, so that's the amount you can deduct from your taxable income. However, the medical deduction threshold is set to return to 10% of AGI starting with the 2019 tax year.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2019, all taxpayers may deduct only the amount of the total reimbursed allowable medical care expenses for the year that exceeds 10% of their adjusted gross income.
Starting in 2018, this limit has been eliminated. Here's how the TCA changes to itemized deductions have altered the tax landscape. Your doctor may have recommended a restricted salt diet, and so has Congress: Under the TCA, the deduction for all state and local taxes combined cannot exceed $10,000.
The standard deduction, which is the itemized deduction's counterpart, is basically a flat-dollar, no-questions-asked reduction in your adjusted gross income. You can take either the standard deduction or itemized deductions on your tax return. You can't do both. The question is which method saves you more money.
The new tax law also eliminated personal exemptions and nearly doubled the standard deduction to about $12,000 for singles and $24,000 for married joint filers which will likely result in fewer people taking itemized deductions on their 2018 returns. ... You might not itemize in the future if you were itemizing before.
The federal Standard Deduction is a fixed dollar amount, based on your filing status and age, that the IRS lets you take off (deduct) from your taxable income. On the other hand, the itemized deduction allows you to list (itemize) your deductions on Schedule A.
As a general rule of thumb, lower-income filers tend to take the standard deduction while high-income taxpayers are more likely to itemize.
For single filers, the deduction for the 2018 tax year is $12,000. That's nearly double the 2017 value of $6,350. For married taxpayers filing jointly, the standard deduction for the 2018 tax year is $24,000, up from $12,700. ... Let's say you're a single filer with $10,000 worth of deductions if you itemize.
