What happens if I remove an email account from Outlook?
Once you delete an account from Outlook, you'll no longer be able to send and receive mail from that account in Outlook. Select the account you want to delete, then select Remove. You'll see a message warning you that all offline cached content for this account will be deleted.
How do I unlink email accounts from Outlook?
Open the File > Account settings menu. Click once on the email account you want to remove. Choose the Remove button. Confirm that you want to delete it by clicking or tapping Yes.
Does delete an Outlook profile delete emails?
Remove a profile. A profile consists of accounts, data files, and settings that specify where your email messages are saved. If you no longer need an Outlook profile, you can delete it. Deleting a profile deletes all email accounts stored in that profile.
Will I lose my emails if I delete my account?
When you delete an account, you won't lose any mail you've previously downloaded.
How do I remove Outlook from my computer?
Go to your Windows Control Panel. Click on Programs and Features (or Add or Remove Programs in older Windows version). Find Code Outlook Sync on the list, right mouse click on it and choose To uninstall.
How can I temporarily disable an Outlook email account?
To temporarily disable an email account, without deleting it, select the Send / Receive tab (which can be always visible if you pin the ribbon). Click on the Send / Receive Groups dropdown button, and pick “Define Send / Receive Groups” near the bottom.
