Hiding columns or rows in Numbers Select the column or row and then click Table > Hide Column or Hide Row from the menu. Select the column or row and either right-click or hold control and click. Then pick Hide Column or Hide Row.
You need to unmerge the cells to hide the column or hide all the columns which the merged cell(s) span. You can test this by adding a new column to the end, then selecting all the other columns and the Hide Columns option will be enabled.
Select the rows or columns you want to hide. Move the pointer over a row number or column letter, then click the down arrow that appears and choose Hide Selected Rows or Hide Selected Columns.
First, click and drag on the row numbers to select the ones you'd like to hide. Then you can either hover over and click the arrow I mentioned above on any of the selected rows, or you could right-click anywhere within the selection. Either way, you'll pick Hide Selected Rows from the choices.
Tap the table. Tap the bar for the row or column you want to hide, then tap Hide.
Click the table cell where you want your result. On the Layout tab next to the Table Design tab, select Formula. Check between the parentheses to make sure Word includes the cells you want in the sum.
Using its handle (found at top, by the column headers), you can drag the Column Bar left or right to the last column you'd like to freeze, 5 columns maximum. Click the Tools tab and then click the “Freeze columns” drop-down menu. From the menu, select the number of columns you want to freeze, 5 columns maximum.
Freeze/Unfreeze Header Row: Freeze and unfreeze header rows by highlighting the row number that appears on the left of the Numbers application, clicking the down arrow that appears and selecting Freeze Headers Rows to check or uncheck the selection as you desire.
Add or delete headers and footers: Click the Headers & Footer pop-up menus in the sidebar and choose a number. ... Freeze header rows and columns: Click the pop-up menus below Headers & Footer, then choose Freeze Header Rows or Freeze Header Columns.
Tap the table, tap, tap Table, then tap Headers & Footer. Do any of the following: Add or delete headers and footers: Tap or next to a header or footer category. Freeze header rows or columns: Turn Freeze Rows or Freeze Columns on or off.
